What
For many years, the world of handcrafted musical instruments has been facing the problem of identifying and authenticating instruments, especially newly built ones. Luthiers and instrument makers can register their instruments by providing high-quality images and historical and technical information. The portal will automatically generate a unique ID code for each instrument added to the site. MIR aims to verify the identity of the instrument maker who adds instruments to the portal, and they are the only person responsible for guaranteeing its authorship, origin, and construction features.
